A.) Overview

In StartProto, it is possible to revert a shipment from "Sent" status back to "Draft" status. This can be useful if you have made a mistake when creating the shipment or if the shipment cannot be fulfilled for any reason. When you revert a shipment to "Draft", the shipped items will be returned to inventory and you will be able to delete the shipment.

1.) To revert a shipment

  • navigate to the "Shipping and Reciving" tab.

  • Select the shipment that you want to revert

  • In the shipment details page, click on the "Revert to Draft" button located at the top-right corner of the page.

  • StartProto will then revert the shipment to "Draft" status. The shipped items will be returned to inventory, and the shipment can be deleted if desired.

It is important to note that once a shipment has been reverted to "Draft" status, you will need to ship the shipment again if you want to send the items.

B.) Summary

In conclusion, reverting a shipment from "Sent" to "Draft" status in StartProto is a straightforward process that can be done in just a few clicks. By doing so, you can ensure that your inventory is up-to-date and that you can delete any unnecessary shipments.
