Partially closing out a job allows you to move Make Items past production before all work for that job is complete from within a Job's details page.
In order to partially close a job, (1) there must be at least partial production progress...
... and (2) there must be linked demand.
When both conditions are met, you can either select the three dots on the top right of the Job's details page and click "Partial Close"...
... or click the checkbox on whichever demand you'd like to partially close, then click Partial Close beside linked demand.
At this point, you can review the proposed changes and adjust the Qty to Close as needed, then click Partial Close when ready.
This will close out the requested quantity of the associated Demand Sources, so that you can move on with shipping, etc. before all production for the job is complete.
